Aparadox in our country is that despite our progress in development and construction, yet, the local project management profession is not only lagging far behind the developed western countries but have yet to be regulated. Just about anyone, without the neccessary qualifications and professional experiences can call themselves a project manager. Such charlatans manage a variety of projects using bold-gut feelings and sheer common sense without understanding even the basic fundamental principles of project management as enshrined in the PMI's (Project Management Institute) PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) that is universally recognized as the professional language "modus operandi" of project management with its code of ethics and conduct.
