A cake-themed caper that whisks you around New England on a mission to discover the secret recipes of America's classic treats - to Boston for the Cream Pie, Manhattan for New York Cheesecake, Maine for Whoopie Pie and Cape Cod for all manner of cranberry-flavoured delights. Laurie is travelling with three other women, all with their own secrets (recipes and otherwise!) and heartaches to heal. As well as a grand appreciation of cupcakes, there's also the chance for romance - but can making whoopie lead to love?
