Paul Walden is just trying to make sense of life. After all, it’s not easy being a teenage boy. He worries about things like death and if he's looking sharp enough, and he spends way too much time thinking about girls.
As Paul navigates high school friendships, his parents’ divorce, first love and first loss, he has to confront some of life’s biggest questions, and learn what really matters most.
A welcome story from an author with a keen understanding of the concerns of those on the verge of adulthood, this is a boy's answer to Sarah Dessen's novels.
It's fast in delivery I get my book after 2 to 4 days. the book is cover with bubbles wrap and protected careful as possible (at least there is no any broke when I get it). Overall is good and I'm sure I will enjoy with the book.
Touching story about the transitions in high school: friendship, family, first love, and loss. The story is an elegantly emotional roller coaster, and was a joy to read.
Touching story about the transitions in high school: friendship, family, first love, and loss. You’ll find yourself giggling, belly laughing and perhaps even crying as the main character navigates though his life in a sincere and loving way. So glad I got this book. It is thought provoking!
This book is perfectly ya. It tells a compelling story, raises the tough conversations that teens need to hear, and has incredibly relatable characters.
The writing was so poetic and beautiful, it had me hooked. The story was simple, noting the life of young boy as he grows. It's the simplicity of life and love that the author tries to portray in this book.
