This is Me is a collection of raw, tangled volatile poems splashed with reality and laced with fantasy that flow into two directions:
One circling the theme of the book, a puzzle set of fictional characters who are regarded to be the closest to the author’s heart, and another girding the sentiment of the lost, wandering and torn souls, which is also based on the contributed words from the poetry prompt.
About the author
Anastasia is a dreamer who finds inspiration in the simple pleasures of life, such as coffee, literature, films, and music. She is also a published author, with two poetry books titled: Lullaby of the Universe (2019) and This is Me (2022). While she is physically based in Kuala Lumpur, her mind often wanders to the fantastical world of Neverland. She draws creative influence from some of the greats, including SylviaPlath and J.R.R. Tolkien, as she strives to emulate their ability to create captivating worlds with her own writing.
