Three Times Lucky (Mo & Dale Mysteries)

Sixth-grader Mo LoBeau lives in Tupelo Landing, NC (population- 128), a small Southern town where everyone's busienss is fair game and no secret is sacred. Mo's true parentage has never been known--she was found washed ashore eleven years ago during a hurricane and she hopes someday to find her "upstream mama," but for now she's found a home with the Landfall Cafe proprietor, the Colonel (who has secrets of his own), and the cafe hostess and chef, Miss Lana, and will protect those she loves with every bit of her strong will. So when a lawman comes to town asking about a murder, Mo and her best friend, Dale Earnhardt Johnson III, set out to uncover the truth in hopes of saving the only family Mo has ever known.
