Through the Window: A Young Writers' Anthology 2024

Our world is full of windows—in our homes, schools, and buildings. They don’t just offer a view of what’s outside; they also provide a different perspective. This is the theme of Through the Window: A Young Writers' Anthology. The book has stories about people stuck at home, those longing for a better life and even some engaging with individuals outside.

There are health issues, loneliness, family problems, and even a murder, thrown in for good measure. Ultimately, the stories are about young people overcoming challenges presented to them.

Through the Window: A Young Writers' Anthology is penned by writers in Malaysia aged 12 to 16. This book is the culmination of their seven-month participation in writer-editor-trainer Brigitte Rozario's Junior Writers Programme. It showcases their writing skills, creativity, imagination, and understanding of situations.

Royalties from the sale of this book will go to Yayasan Chow Kit, a non-profit organisation serving the needs of children and teens in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
