Maybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, and gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it. For Mitch Albom, that person was Morrie Schwartz, his college professor from nearly twenty years ago. Maybe, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor as you made your way, and the insights faded. Wouldn't you like to see that person again, ask the bigger questions that still haunt you? Mitch Albom had that second chance. He rediscovered Morrie in the last months of the older man's life. Knowing he was dying of ALS - or motor neurone disease - MItch visited Morrie in his study every Tuesday, just as they used to back in college. Their rekindled relationship turned into one final 'class': lessons in how to live. TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE is a magical chronicle of their time together, through which Mitch shares Morrie's lasting gift with the world.

Review of the Book: Tuesday with Morrie is a beautiful piece of literature that has the reader excitedly turning the page in anticipation of another of Morrie’s life lessons and aphorisms. Morrie is an exceptional well-loved human being, and when reading the book, one feels his love for life. Tuesdays with Morrie will change the way you view life. In my opinion, this book is more related to the ground realities of life. It gives a different perspective to life that aging is not our choice, but growing is. The book represents a beautiful bond between the professor and his student. The lessons of life are learned through experiences. Very inspiring, emotional, and full of positive vibe meaning of life is teaching from experience by the professor on deathbed. I want to reread it. This is one of my favorite books. Give it a try. Its worth reading 🌸 Follow for more book reviews and recommendations Insta @zee_versatile

I adore this book. Good explanations for things we question about in life, such as family, love, marriage, happiness, and age.
The best person to teach about the meaning and the goal of life is a person that are about to die. This concept is the main theme for this book. Throughout the stories, you will learn on how Morrie's experiences shape his behaviour and how he views his life differently from others. Heartbreaking yet motivational stories. Highly recommended!
This is, I guess, my 5th copy of the book. My colleagues gifted me my first copy way back in 2000 and I absolutely fell in love with it. I read it every time before the beginning of a new semester as it reminds me of the meaning of life and what values I should be teaching my students. I have give this book as a present to many students as I know they will benefit from it. Please read it, you will definitely love it
