Staff Review:
This very fun book of things to spot in Fairyland will be engrossing for the child who picks it up. A clear list of objects to find is provided in each fairy-related spread. ‘Fairy school' and ‘Fairy treehouse' are some of my personal favourites as they have very interesting depictions of the fairy activities going on. In ‘Fairy treehouse', there are self-flipping pancakes and self-dusting feather dusters to find, while in ‘Fairy school' it appears that the school is in a vegetable garden full of fairies having flying lessons while others are learning how to perform the duties of a Tooth Fairy, amongst other things!
In total, this book contains 13 scenes to slowly search through and be immersed in all the fun that the fairies are having within each scene that the book does not call for but which the reader will undoubtedly be looking at. This book, besides aiding number and observational skills development, will certainly help in sparking the imagination of the children reading, which is equally important for a more enriching childhood.
