Waste Tide

Waste Tide is exactly the kind of science fiction I enjoy most. It takes a real world issue (massive amounts of e-waste dumped in China) and smashes it with a dose of fantasy. Likable characters, easy to follow story, multiple twists I never saw coming. You’ll really like this one, I guarantee it.

The idea is awesome and the worldbuilding very complex, but the storytelling is disjointed and convoluted. It's a highly dense, mixed bag of cyberpunk, chinese myths, traditions and superstitions, all wrapped up in an eco-thriller, with strong horror accents.
