The Kite Runner

all i can say is i was uncontrollably crying when i reached the second half of the book. i love the ending, its so comforting after everything Amir had been through. "For you, a thousand times over" *sobs*

I'm not sure how many times I cried while reading the book. Not to mention the irony in the story. It was carefully well thought of and I couldn't put this book down hence I finished it within 3 days. Recommended.

Good reading!....good book about love, family and friendship.. the book also give you a great insight of the culture of Afghanistan.. recommended..

The Kite Runner is a book that I will always remember. It is great tale of immense suffering and redemption. I felt Hosseni gave a very descriptive view of a man going to great lengths to be free of his guilt. I am familiar with much of the art and literature that comes out of Afghanistan, and I feel that this is among the best. All of the Afghani stories,like this one, or films are filled with much pain and are very touching. I hope to see more of his work, he seems to be a rising star amongst other modern authors. In final the Kite Runner is a must read and I believe that everyone has something to gain from it.
