ALICIA
Alicia Berenson writes a diary as a release, an outlet - and to prove to her beloved husband that everything is fine. She can't bear the thought of worrying Gabriel, or causing him pain.

Until, late one evening, Alicia shoots Gabriel five times and then never speaks another word.

THEO
Forensic psychotherapist Theo Faber is convinced he can successfully treat Alicia, where all others have failed. Obsessed with investigating her crime, his discoveries suggest Alicia's silence goes far deeper than he first thought.

And if she speaks, would he want to hear the truth?

The Silent Patient

It's a breath of fresh air - to get a satisfying read after a hiatus. The plot is fantastic, it's beautifully written in a way that even if you are able to guess the plot, you still have this satisfying read at the end of the chapter. Highly recommended!

A 3.5 stars for me

The first 100 pages were slow and i almost DNF'ed it. The plot twist were definitely shocking but I think the whole plot buildup were not worth it. There are so many characters that I thought were suspicious but after the plot twist, there were no explanation as to why they acting sus? Too many plot holes and THE ENDING... it ended so abruptly but again the plot twist definitely saved the whole book.
