Salina, a nuclear physicist and part-time astronaut from COROZ, visits the hydrogen processing plant stationed at the Fox Fur nebula. Her visit, however, is hindered by data issues and missing hydrogen storage tanks. During a station check-up, she discovers an intruder who escapes after a gamma radiation blast, leading to a power plant shutdown.
Salina, along with Rafin and Dr. Zen, investigates and uncovers a hidden compartment at the power plant, revealing the intruder to be Captain Mariska, a well-known intergalactic traveller. Before they can arrest her, Mariska flees toward what seems to be a wormhole.
