International Peace and Security: Challenges and the Way Forward is an edited book that contains selected papers submitted during the International Conference on Peace and Conflict Resolution (ICPCR) 2022, organized by the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia. The authors of each chapter of this book are responsible for the content, clarity and accuracy of their ideas.

This book creates awareness of the importance of peace and security around the world, offering readers an opportunity to develop their understanding of the various applications of effective peaceful dispute resolution and its methods in different societies around the world. Peace is beautiful and it is a great wealth, it should not be threatened or violated because, in its absence, chaos and human suffering prevail. In maintaining world peace, maximum care should be taken to avoid resorting to force, because peace can be achieved and maintained through understanding and not by force.
