A fantastic book. The author did not want a telescopic view of the characters involved. Instead, he aimed for 'intimacy'. And he delivered precisely that.

This book documented the story of the Sackler's Dynasty from the beginning of their business adventure to the mountainous lawsuits because of their painkiller, which was regarded as enabling the opioid crisis in the US. The timeline is a bit here and there but overall, this is impressive investigative journalism. Read, if you want to understand about aggressive marketing.
