The first book in the award-winning MORTAL ENGINES quartet.
In a dangerous future, huge motorized cities hunt, attack and fight each other for survival. As London pursues a small town, young apprentice Tom is flung out into the wastelands, where a terrifying cyborg begins to hunt him down. MORTAL ENGINES launched Philip Reeve's brilliantly-imagined creation, the world of the Traction Era, where mobile cities fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic future. Now, in time for the film debut, the critically acclaimed MORTAL ENGINES quartet is repackaged with a fantastic and eye-catching cover featuring new artwork.
The book itself are amazing with a great plot and adventure. I love both movie and the book.
I love Mortal Engines very much but I never read the book because I've already watched the movie. Until I made the decision to read the book, and it was AMAZING! There are so many things that they didn't portray in the movie from the books. And from there I'm very grateful that MPH has stocks for this book.
This series has a fre book but I have only manage to read the first one. I hatenthe movie but I love the original book very much. The heroin look so weak in a movie but truely admirable in the book. Must read especially for teenager
