I regret not reading this book when I first started earning
Note that this book doesn't contain any information on how to invest if that is what you are are looking for, it instead focuses on the habits one must cultivate in order to have more control over your finances. The book conveys this via short stories which are packed full of wisdom and are not boring to read through.
Must Read for anyone who just started a job and is clueless about how to handle his finances
This book is so well written and I love it so much. The author teaches timeless financial wisdom in the form of fictitious parables set in ancient Babylon. I found the stories entertaining and the financial lessons as valid today as they were in Babylon millennia ago. The author also recommends thatvwe should enjoy our life, and not working so hard to amass wealth that you become miserly. It says that to succeed, you must have strong, definite desires and ambitions, not vague dreams. The story of the goddess of good luck teaches that you must always be prepared for opportunity, because luck rewards men of action. Highly recommended reading during EMCO!
This is a good book to read. It provides common sense financial advice.
Timeless concept of money through a story of Arkad, poor scribe who became the richest man in Babylon. Read for the wisdom and not to obsess over the rules or laws. These are tools to help you, have a try to read this gem!
